The Ernie Nester Chapter of Trout Unlimited (ENCTU) is excited to announce the schedule of our 2023 Angling Arts Classes for individuals wishing to learn and expand their knowledge of fly fishing. 

 

The classes cover a broad range of topics for a variety of skill levels. There is a basic registration fee of $20.00 per person per course. You do not have to be a Trout Unlimited member to enroll; the classes are open to anyone.

 

Children under the age of fourteen must be accompanied by an adult who will attend the class with them. Registration fees can be paid at the first meeting of the class.

Starting Tuesday, March 21 - Hurricane First Baptist Church

Beginning Fly Fishing - Tuesday & Thursday 6:00pm - 9:00pm * March 21,23,28 & 30 * $20 Registration * Max: 15 participants.

This is a more detailed class covers all aspects of fly fishing, with emphasis on trout fishing.  Casting is included.  The ENCTU Chapter will provide fly rods for use during the class.

Starting Saturday, April 1 - Cabela's

​

Introduction to Fly Fishing - 9:00am - 5:00pm * 1 Day * $20 Registration * Max: 15 participants.

The class covers the basics of fly fishing with emphasis on trout fishing and includes casting.  The ENCTU Chapter will provide fly rods for use during the class.

Starting Tuesday, April 4 - Hurricane First Baptist Church
